HFH Policy on publicity including the press and other media, web sites, photographs and recorded images. Halton Farnworth Hornets arlfc recognises the need to ensure the privacy, welfare and safety of all young people in Rugby League. As part of our commitment to this - in the absence of the consent of the parents/carers and the young person - we will not permit:

· The submission of match reports or articles to the press and other media.
· The taking of photographs, video or other images of young people.

Halton Farnworth Hornets arlfc will follow the guidance for the use of images of young people, a copy of which is in the Rugby League Child Protection Policy and Implementation Procedures.

Halton Farnworth Hornets arlfc will take all reasonable steps to ensure these images are used solely for the purposes they are intended, which is the promotion and celebration of the activities of Halton Farnworth Hornets arlfc and the wider Rugby League community. If you become aware that images are being used inappropriately you should inform Halton Farnworth Hornets arlfc immediately.

The Halton Farnworth Hornets arlfc agrees to adopt the Rugby League Child Protection Policy and implementation Procedures. All individual members are deemed to have read understood and assented to the Rugby League Code of Ethics and Conduct (“Code”) and as such recognise and adhere to the principles and responsibilities embodied in the Code.

Information we record may be available on the website for the relevant season, after which it will be removed and archived. If at any time either the parent/carer or the young person wishes the information to be removed from the website, written notice must be given to the HFH Secretary. Upon receipt of the notice Halton Farnworth Hornets arlfc will remove it within seven days.

As part of Clubmark Gold accreditation, all parents and players MUST sign a HFH Declaration [PLAYER PROFILE] Consent Form.

The completion of this form confirms the players registration with the HFH club and the parent/player abidance by the "HFH Policy on publicity including the press and other media, web sites, photographs and recorded images".

For current players, HFH have issued Declaration [PLAYER PROFILE] Consent Forms via coaching staff for EACH AGE GROUP. Under the Clubmark Gold criteria, until ALL these forms have been completed and returned, NO PUBLICITY WHATSOEVER IS ALLOWED FOR THAT TEAM AGE GROUP.

Could coaching staff of each age group please ensure that their teams Declaration [PLAYER PROFILE] Consent Forms are ALL completed and returned to the HFH Registration Secretary.
