The Halton/HFH Club Volunteer Incentive Scheme
The HFH Club has teamed-up with "Halton Sports Partnership" and now operate the HSP Halton Volunteer Incentive Scheme.
Any member of the HFH Club who have completed a HFH Volunteers Profile Form, and continues to volunteer regularly, can sign-up to the Volunteer Incentive Scheme. This allows HFH Volunteers to work towards achieving 200 hours.
All that a HFH Volunteers need is a Mentor to witness and sign off their hours volunteering at the HFH Club.
Any HFH Volunteers under 16 years of age will need parental consent to join the scheme.
A HFH Volunteer can be anyone who coaches, washes the kit, sets up the pitch, manages the paperwork for the team, etc, and as such forms part of the Team Administration structure.
Alternatively, they could be somebody who volunteers their time to help out in the kitchen, cleans out the Annexe after match days, goes round the grounds collecting the discarded rubbish, etc.
So a HFH Volunteer doesn't have to be involved specifically with a team, they just need to be volunteering their services to the HFH Club.
And in your role as a 'none paid' HFH Volunteer, you are fine to sign up to the Volunteer Incentive Scheme.
From a HFH Club operational view point, ALL HFH Volunteers will be CRB Checked and details of their CRB status displayed on this website in the 'Contacts' page.
As a HFH Volunteer you will see in the table below what you will receive as you reach each milestone. "Halton Sports Partnership" will also present you with a recognition certificate at each milestone.
The Halton Volunteer Incentive Scheme has been devised in partnership with "Halton Sports Partnership" and Halton Borough Council. The scheme aims to recruit, reward, recognise, and support ALL Volunteers, even young Volunteers aged from 8 years upwards. This recognition is also extended to the Mentors who volunteer to honestly verify a HFH Volunteers hours throughout the process.
As a HFH Volunteer, you are dedicating your time voluntary to the HFH Club and therefore to the whole sporting sector of Halton.
